About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary and technically fluent Head of Product to lead the evolution of our trading platform and engine. This is a critical leadership role where you will partner closely with the CEO, Head of Technology, and other senior stakeholders to define and execute a world-class product strategy.
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering advanced trading functionality and must be deeply familiar with the expectations and workflows of institutional and professional traders.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy
- Shape and execute AdmiTrade’s product strategy in partnership with the CEO, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
- Own and evolve the roadmap to deliver advanced, institutional-grade trading features and infrastructure.
- Define product goals that blend innovation, scalability, and user-centric design.
Platform Development & Execution
- Drive the build-out of a high-performance trading platform inspired by industry leaders
- Ensure robust feature development across order types (FoK, market, limit, stop), trading protocols (RFQ/RFS), OTC workflows, margin/lending, and credit risk systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to maintain a high velocity of delivery and quality.
User-Centric Innovation
- Build for institutional users: trading desks, hedge funds, HNWIs, and fintechs integrating via our APIs.
- Translate nuanced user needs into powerful, intuitive features that provide competitive advantages in speed, control, and insight.
- Champion a relentless focus on client outcomes and platform usability.
Liquidity & Market Infrastructure
- Leverage your understanding of liquidity provision, market-making models, and credit frameworks to guide product prioritization and architecture.
- Partner with internal and external market makers to ensure deep, efficient liquidity across trading pairs.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing product & design team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, operations, trading, legal, and marketing to ensure coordinated and timely execution.
- Represent the product team in strategic conversations with leadership, partners, and clients.
Data-Informed Decisions
- Set clear KPIs and use analytics to drive feature optimization and performance improvements.
- Implement systems for continuous feedback from users, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Deep Experience in Trading Platforms: Proven track record delivering institutional-grade trading features in crypto or traditional finance (e.g., Kraken Pro, B2C2, Binance Pro, institutional desks).
- Fluency in Core Trading Concepts: In-depth knowledge of order types (FoK, Market, Limit), protocols (RFQ, RFS), Lend & Borrow, collateral management, and margin systems.
- Market Structure Expertise: Hands-on experience with liquidity provision, credit risk systems, and OTC flows in crypto or digital asset markets.
- API Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of trading APIs and integration patterns with fintech clients or external systems.
- Strategic Thinking & Execution: Capable of crafting bold product visions and breaking them down into executable roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and working directly with executive leadership and technical teams.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Adept at using analytics to shape decision-making and drive iteration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Head of Product or equivalent leadership role in an institutional trading, crypto exchange, or digital asset infrastructure company.
- Experience working alongside market makers, OTC desks, or prime brokerage platforms.
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations and compliance frameworks for institutional crypto products.
- Background in financial engineering, trading strategy, or quant research is a plus.

Recruitment process:
Screening (with Recruiter) - 40 min
During this meeting, you will learn more about ICEO, and our strategy, and you will be asked questions about your experience and approach.
First interview: (with VP of Product) - 1.5 h
- An in-depth discussion focusing on the candidate’s product management experience (with examples), relevant experience, technical skills and strategic vision for the platform.
- Leadership experience discussed and examples outlined.
Second interview: (Team Culture Check) - 45 min
A meeting to evaluate the candidate’s compatibility with the team’s culture, collaboration style and communication skills.
Final Stage: (with AdmiTrade CEO and VP of Product) - 1.5 h
A comprehensive interview with the CEO of AdmiTrade to assess the candidate’s capabilities, long-term vision and potential impact on the company’s success.
