DevOps Engineer. Remote

About the role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll primarily contribute to Linity, our global educational platform for the crypto space, and provide infrastructure support for Veneos, our common backend foundation. You’ll independently manage smaller-scale infrastructure projects, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, CI/CD, and monitoring. Your role is essential in supporting our engineering teams to achieve efficient, reliable software delivery.

Linity is an educational platform dedicated to crypto enthusiasts at all levels - from beginners to advanced traders. It bridges the crypto knowledge gap through guides, project analyses, NFT opportunities, airdrops, and real-time market insights, promoting community-driven learning in a secure Web3 environment.

Veneos provides a modular backend foundation shared across multiple ICEO projects. It offers streamlined core services like logging, security, and scalability, enabling developers to focus on unique business logic.

What you will do:

• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure using GCP and GKE, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Optimize resource usage by monitoring and managing cloud costs efficiently.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to facilitate rapid incident responses.
• Support CI/CD processes by collaborating closely with development teams.
• Participate in planning and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Document infrastructure and processes clearly to promote knowledge sharing.
• Explore new technologies to enhance observability, scalability, and automation.
• Automate tasks throughout the development lifecycle to ensure stable and swift software deployments.
• Maintain a balance between security and flexibility for efficient teamwork.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams and actively participate in agile routines, such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

What we expect from you:

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, GoLang, C++, Java).
• Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and logging solutions such as ELK stack.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ideally within GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD) and version control.
• Basic Linux administration skills (Debian/Ubuntu).
• Experience working with common tools such as Kafka, Redis, and Nginx.
• Interest in crypto/blockchain, DeFi, and decentralized technologies.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Argo CD and Argo Rollouts.
• Experience with Apache HTTP Server, OpenVPN, or networking concepts.
• PostgreSQL management experience.
• Familiarity with SSO solutions and Okta.
