About ZND:

The project is an ambitious and innovative crypto exchange platform designed to redefine user engagement within the digital asset ecosystem. At its core, the platform launched a proprietary token that provides tangible utility throughout the ecosystem, empowering users to participate in a range of financial services, including lending, borrowing, yield generation, and staking.

In this role, you will:

• We are seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial, founding designer who thrives in startup environments. 
• You are self-starting, adaptable, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. 
• With a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences, you’ll lead the design function in one of our startups, while effectively managing stakeholders and collaborating across disciplines. 
• You’re excited to shape a product from its earliest stages and bring a strong voice to the product team. 
• You will be mentoring other designers and collaborating with heads of product, research and development.
• You ideally have experience in fintech or crypto environments, or have an affinity and knowledge of the space and have a portfolio that displays dealing with data or financial products.

What we expect from you:

• Ability to define and drive design vision: You will establish and communicate a design strategy for our startups that aligns with product and business goals. This includes leading the entire design process, from initial concepts and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and final implementation.
• A talent for crafting exceptional user experiences: At heart you are a designer who is passionate and experienced in creating delighting UI. You excel at designing user-centric interfaces that delight and engage. You’re skilled at creating systems that ensure consistency across platforms while leaving room for innovation and flexibility.
• Capability to establish a visual identity: You have a keen eye for defining and maintaining a brand’s visual language across all touch points. Your ability to translate abstract ideas into impactful visuals ensures our brand resonates consistently with users.
• Leadership in the design function: Being a founding/staff designer you understand the importance of accountability, ownership, assertiveness, and communication. You’ll champion a design-driven culture across your team and the organisation. As we grow, you will mentor designers from your IC perspective, fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment.
• Collaborative spirit: You work effectively with product managers, engineers, marketers and founders to shape, influence and execute the product roadmap. You advocate for the voice of the user in every discussion, ensuring design has a strategic influence 
• You have extensive experience: A minimum of 7 years in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of leading significant design projects. Experience in high-growth startups or consumer-facing products is strongly preferred. You have a strong specialisation in UI design with capable skills in UX and research and a robust visual portfolio demonstrating proficiency.

Recruitment Process:

• Resume and portfolio check - we do it within a week 
• Screening with recruiter - (40 mins) - we will tell you about us and our project and ask you basic questions about your experience to check if it’s a match :)
• Meet the design team - (1.5 hour) - Interview with designer & design lead to discuss your portfolio, design practices and knowledge and to present a recent case from your portfolio
• Final Meeting: Meet the leadership team - (1 hour) - Interview with the product leadership: Head of Product / VP of Product to discuss collaboration approach and cultural fit
