About the role
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Compliance to lead our compliance efforts in BeOne project and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. The Head of Compliance will play a key role in developing, implementing, and updating compliance programs and procedures but also establishing and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies. This position requires strong leadership skills, regulatory expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

BeOne: neobank project which is our comprehensive suite of services encompasses effortless fund transfers, convenient card facilities, and hassle-free currency exchanges. Envisioning a future of seamless financial transactions, we aim to establish a meticulously regulated partner network. This network will empower users with round-the-clock access to cost-effective solutions, especially in the realm of cryptocurrency, ensuring simplicity and convenience at every turn.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement compliance procedures and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in regulatory meetings as the AML/Compliance representative.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess compliance risks, implement controls, and address regulatory issues.
- Develop and maintain compliance procedures, including transaction monitoring protocols, KYC processes, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry trends, and provide guidance on emerging compliance requirements and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, and provide guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
- Train and mentor junior compliance staff on compliance procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in compliance-related projects and initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes.ntinuous improvement of compliance processes.
What we expect from you:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or a related field, emphasizing the development and execution of compliance protocols and procedures.
- Minimum 7 years in a leadership role,
- A strong foundation in both the traditional financial sector (TradFi) and the fintech industry.
- A comprehensive comprehension of regulatory mandates and optimal industry standards, particularly in domains like AML, KYC, and transaction surveillance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal competencies, adept at engaging stakeholders across organizational hierarchies.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust analytical and problem-solving proficiencies.
- Capability to thrive in a high-speed, dynamic startup ecosystem.
- Fluency in English (C1)
