• As a remote-first company, we enable you to work from anywhere in the world, but you can also work in one of our offices in Poland (Cracow) or Estonia (Tallinn),
• We offer semi-flexible working hours - we would like you to be available between 11 am and 3 pm CET- the rest you set yourself;
• You will play one of the key roles in the creation of our products in fintech, web3 and cryptocurrency industries.

In this role you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable software solutions by working closely with cross-functional teams (designers, project managers, developers) to create high-quality software.
• Lead the development of new features and functionalities by managing epics from planning through deployment, ensuring alignment with project goals, timely delivery, and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and perform unit and integration tests.
• Debug, fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
• Document development processes, code, and architecture.
• Provide technical guidance (e.g. by troubleshooting complex issues in various environments) and mentorship to team members.
• Make architectural and design decisions, particularly for frontend development.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Represent the technology team in cross-functional meetings and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure a smooth development lifecycle, from planning through deployment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies and encourage a culture of continuous learning. environments.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data protection policies.
  
  Your responsibilities will include:

• Development of frontend components while maintaining high code quality,
• Development of frontend views in accordance with the provided design,
• Code review of the work of other developers,
• Writing unit / integration tests,
• Code versioning according to git flow,
• Support in the software development process - research, conception, development of architectural knowledge,
• Cooperation with the epic team.

What we expect from you:

• 5+ years experience in web development
• 3+ years commercial experience in React
• 1+ years commercial experience in NextJs
• Great knowledge of React, NextJs, Typescript
• Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
• Self-driven and responsible with the ability to independently work with little or no help
• Experience in developing fintech or crypto applications

Recruitment Process:

Our recruitment process includes several stages:

CV review We are planning to review all the applications as soon as possible. 

Stage I:

An introductory conversation with recruitment, during which we will tell you about us and the Venture Builder approach, our goals, the team and about completed and ongoing projects. At this stage, we will want to know your current situation in the context of changing jobs, financial expectations and preferred form of employment.

Stage II:

A technical (and final) interview during which we will want to know your experience. We will ask you a few questions about solution architecture, good practices, and knowledge of specific tools.

Stage III (Optional) :

A technical task

Stage IV (Optional) :

An interview with our VP of Development with general questions about your expertise and work experience and leadership.
