- As a remote-first company, we enable you to work from anywhere in the world, but you can also work in one of our offices in Poland (Cracow) or Estonia (Tallinn),
- We offer semi-flexible working hours - we would like you to be available between 11 am and 3 pm CET- the rest you set yourself;
- You will play one of the key roles in the creation of our products and the decision-making process.
About the role
VP of Growth is to provide resources within marketing and business development, that are necessary to create effective structure in business projects and to ensure availability of marketing & business development within the whole ICEO organization.
The growth department is a dynamic group of teams, each led by role-specific leaders, who work together to achieve their common goal of success. The team members are specialists in various domains such as product marketing, social media and community management, PR and events, digital marketing, web analytics, content creation and SEO, graphic design, sales, and business development, who are constantly learning and growing their expertise. With their diverse skill sets, this team is well-equipped to build new, successful companies and tackle any challenge that comes their way.
As a VP of Growth, your responsibility is to work with role leaders to effectively manage teams and help them develop their skills. Your focus will be on nurturing the team's skills and expertise while promoting knowledge sharing and learning within the organization. Your leadership and guidance will be essential in driving our ICEO success.
Your responsibilities will include the following areas:
Strategic
- Building and leading growth department, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration,
- Assess and address possible skills gaps in the growth department, taking into account current and future business projects,
- Making sure that all the team members are aligned in terms of growth strategy and standards and they are consistent with ICEO group approach,
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitive intelligence,
- Implement best practices and standards to improve the overall performance and job quality of the growth teams in all ICEO business projects,
- Identify, implement, and optimize the best marketing technology stack to fuel our growth,
- Facilitate the achievement of synergies and collaboration between the different levels of the organization and the growth department,
- Report progress of growth initiatives to ICEO management, CEO, and stakeholders. Represent the growth department in decision-making meetings.
Team management
- Growth department resources management and planning. Make hiring decisions, manage onboarding, & handle promotions/terminations,
- Motivate managers and team leaders, and support them with their current challenges and ensure they have the knowledge and skills they need to lead their teams independently,
- Monitor the assessment of growth team members and their training and development needs.
Quality of work
- Evaluate the performance of growth team members and the team in terms of assigned targets and KPIs,
- Ensure and monitor the process of implementing the OKR structure in the growth teams,
- Set budgeting standards and monitor budget consumption in the growth teams and it’s optimal allocation,
- Make final decisions on the introduction of new tools and monitor their use in the team.

What we expect from you:
- +5 years experience in building Growth teams (from 10 people and up) within a distributed/remote structure,
- Experience in recruitment for both – marketing & business development positions,
- Proven experience in managing diverse teams,
- Experience in working within a matrix structure,
- Diverse work experience: startup & corporation,
- Hiring plans preparation experience & employee career path management,
- Problem solving, strong analytical and project management skills,
- Knowledge of KPIs, marketing and growth metrics, OKRs establishing and budgeting,
- Proven experience in building marketing strategies and plans,
- Knowledge and practical experience with digital marketing,
- Proven experience in carrying out optimization and standardization of business development/sales & marketing processes,
- Extensive knowledge of marketing trends, techniques, and latest industry developments,
- Results-driven individual,
- Good communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong leadership, mentoring and presentation qualities.
Nice to have:
- knowledge of Confluence and Jira,
- interest in fintech / web 3.0
